Preliminary Provisions

By downloading, registering for, and using the J-Wallet service and its integrated applications, you declare and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the provisions in these Terms and Conditions. These terms also apply to the use of J-Wallet services through websites and/or other affiliated media and/or applications.


Risk Exposure

The J-Wallet Account is solely owned and known by you, making it your responsibility to maintain the security and validity of all transactions within it. J-Wallet is a diverse platform, meaning that any transaction or top-up is entirely under your control. In the event of errors such as mistyped addresses, loss of your Personal Identification Number (PIN), password, or Recovery Phrase, J-Wallet cannot assist you, and you bear the risk of losing all assets stored in the J-Wallet.


J-Wallet Application Registration Terms

Definition

  • You: Refers to the user or customer who registers and agrees to the registration terms and/or other terms listed in this application.

  • Account: The medium that appears after you register on the J-Wallet site or application, protected by a Password, PIN, and Recovery Phrase, which you need to safeguard. The account also allows you to access the features of J-Wallet.

  • Provisions: All terms and conditions agreed upon when you first register and obtain an official J-Wallet Account.

  • J-Wallet: Refers to the J-Wallet application along with other complementary and/or supporting programs or features considered as one unit with J-Wallet.

  • JIDR: A digital token used as a payment currency, with a 1:1 conversion rate with IDR.


Registration

Registration terms and conditions:

  1. Steps to Sign Up for J-Wallet Account:

    • Download the J-Wallet application.

    • Create a password.

    • Create a PIN code.

    • Remember the recovery phrase of your account.

  2. Requirements to Sign Up:

    • You must be a valid subject of law in accordance with Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata (KUHPer).

    • If you are not a valid subject of law, you must have permission or authorization from your guardian or legal parent.


Scope of Service

The Scope of Services for J-Wallet includes:

  • Depositing/top-up or receiving assets in the form of crypto assets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) to JIDR digital tokens.

  • Redeeming JIDR digital tokens to:

    • Cryptocurrencies you own.

    • Any banks in Indonesia registered on J-Wallet.

    • Indonesian currency (IDR) via cash delivery.

    • Transfer tokens to specific vendors or merchants registered in J-Wallet.


Technical Services of J-Wallet

  • Your J-Wallet enables you to send, receive, and deposit assets according to your choice.

  • J-Wallet processes transactions based on the orders you give. Once a transaction order is executed, it cannot be canceled. J-Wallet is not responsible for errors in the information provided by you.

  • J-Wallet is not responsible for the real value of assets stored, as it serves purely as a digital medium.


Data Security

  • J-Wallet may obtain your personal data during account creation, transactions, or specific collaborations with J-Wallet.

  • J-Wallet strives to maintain the security and confidentiality of your information, adhering to the regulations of the Republic of Indonesia.

  • Disclosure of personal data may occur for reasons such as:

    • Disclosure to J-Wallet affiliates for feature development.

    • Legal requirements mandating disclosure.

    • Internal audits, market research, and other internal needs.

  • You consent to J-Wallet using, transferring, or developing your data in compliance with applicable laws.


J-Wallet Authority Over Your Account

  • Account Blocking: J-Wallet can block or deactivate your account based on its judgment or due to the following conditions:

    • Upon your request.

    • Security breach reports.

    • Suspected illegal activity.

    • Inactivity.

    Blocking restricts access to J-Wallet features. Reactivation requests can be sent to support@garuda.to, but reactivation is subject to the absence of illegal activities.

  • Account Deletion: J-Wallet can delete your account under conditions such as:

    • Prolonged inactivity with no reactivation request.

    • Legal or court orders.

    • Internal investigation finding violations.

    • Death of the account owner with no heir.

    • Written request from you.

    Deletion will follow a notification process, with assets treated according to applicable provisions.


Obligations and Restrictions

Obligations:

  • Comply with all J-Wallet terms and conditions.

  • Use J-Wallet in accordance with legal provisions.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Ensure the accuracy of transaction-related information.


Restrictions:

  • Prohibited from using J-Wallet in illegal activities.

  • Prohibited from using J-Wallet's name for unauthorized marketing.

  • Prohibited from modifying J-Wallet features without consent.

  • Prohibited from disclosing J-Wallet's confidential information.


Representations and Warranties

  • You declare that you have understood and agree to all J-Wallet terms and conditions.

  • You authorize J-Wallet to store and develop your data in compliance with applicable laws.

  • You guarantee the legality of your funds and your legal capacity or guardian consent.

  • Any breach of these guarantees may result in account blocking or deletion.


Limitation of Liability

  • J-Wallet is not responsible for errors in transaction details, loss of account credentials, or the real value of assets.

  • J-Wallet's responsibility ends once assets leave the J-Wallet system.

  • J-Wallet is not responsible for compatibility issues with your electronic devices or internet connectivity.


Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property related to J-Wallet is owned by PT Jagadraya Jaring Terdistribusi. Unauthorized use, duplication, or modification is prohibited.


Force Majeure

Force majeure includes natural disasters, terrorism, pandemics, and other unforeseeable events beyond J-Wallet's control. J-Wallet is not liable for risks arising from such events.


Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will be resolved through consultation or, if necessary, through the South Jakarta District Court.

This document is bilingual, with the Indonesian version prevailing in case of different interpretations.
